Result – Lost 30 – 29 vs. Fordham

Summary – Fordham scored a touchdown with 4 seconds remaining on a 29 yard touchdown pass from Rich Nebrich to Sam Ajala to tie the game, and got the win when Mike Marando tacked on the extra point.  Temple trailed 20 – 7 in the 3rd quarter.  Connor Reilly, coming off an injury in the Owls previous game, was inserted at quarterback.  He led the Cherry and White to 3 touchdowns and a 29 – 23 lead with four and a half minutes on the clock.  Fordham got the winning drive on the ensuing possession.  The Rams amassed 520 yards of offense.  Nebrich threw for 320 yards, Ajala caught 7 passes for 134 yards, and running back Charlton Koonce ran for 168 yards.  Temple got touchdowns from Kenny Harper, his fifth of the season, Juice Granger, Chris Coyer, and Reilly.  To read the full story view Last Second Touchdown Propels Fordham Past Temple.
