It’s just about time to choose this year’s all Big 5 team, so here we go: DeAndre’ Bembry from St. Joe’s, who has had a terrific season despite being  targeted by opponents who consider him the Hawks only offensive threat; Darrun Hilliard, Villanova’s excellent sharpshooter who is the best  player on one of the best teams in the country; Will Cummings, Temple’s outstanding leader, and where would the Owls be without him?; Villanova’s Ryan Arcidiacono, he did a great job running the team and made big shots when needed; and JayVaughn Pinkston, whose toughness and strong defense has been invaluable to Villanova.  As for the Outstanding Player, I would call it a tie between Bembry and Hilliard.

According to an unreliable source, the Sixers have a new plan: They will draft Frank Kaminsky, extend JaVale McGee another year, and sign a suddenly healthy Andrew Bynum.  Combining those three with Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid, they will go to camp with five very tall centers and 15 draft picks. From all reports, the team’s analytic experts love the idea.

Just wondering: How many times does Keith Olbermann have to get suspended or fired, before people realize he’s really not worth hiring.?.. Also, how would you like to be the play-by-play guy with the combative and eccentric Bill Walton as your color man?
