It is conference tournament time again. It is staring with the women’s basketball tournaments which starts in Philadelphia for the local schools.
Saint Joseph’s University Hagan Arena will house the Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball Championships starting on Friday March 2, 2o12. The locals tip-off on Friday with the #8 seed LaSalle Explorers meeting the #9 Xavier at 11:30 AM. The winner of that game will face the top-seed St. Bonaventure on Saturday at Noon. In the opening round right after LaSalle concludes their game, the #5 seed Saint Joseph’s Hawks play #12 Fordham. The winner takes on #4 Richmond at 2:30 on Saturday. The Temple Owls take the court for the first time on Saturday, March 3 at 5 PM when second seeded Temple against the winner of the Duquesne vs. George Washington game.
