First Round
#11 La Salle 74 #14 Davidson 63 – The La Salle Explorers opened tournament play with a victory over the Davidson Wildcats. The Explorers were led by Micahya Owens who scored a game-high 24 points. Siobhan Beslow contributed a double-double scoring 14 points and taking down 13 rebounds in the contest. Alicia Cropper added 11 points. La Salle went into halftime with a 33 – 30 lead. Davidson got to within a point, but La Salle answered with a 12 – 3 run to take control. The lead would grow to as many as 17 points. The Explorers had a 43 – 30 edge on the boards. La Salle advances to the second round and will meet 6th seeded Rhode Island.
